Uncertain situations that tested me in life

Uncertain situations tested me many times in my life. In this post, I brief them, analyze them, and finally show how to accept them in life.

Life is uncertain. So you don’t know what will happen in the next moment. Let’s say right now; you are climbing up the steps of the staircase to enter your flat at night. All of a sudden, the power goes off. As a result, the staircase becomes dark. You pause for a moment. You don’t know where to make your next step in the dark. This uncertain situation makes you more alert. As a result, you try to solve the problem of darkness in a new way. You switch on the flashlight of your mobile and climb up the steps with ease.

“If uncertainty is unacceptable to you, it turns into fear. If it is perfectly acceptable, it turns into increased aliveness, alertness, and creativity.”

— Eckhart Tolle.

I just gave the most straightforward example here so that you can understand the nature of uncertain things in life well.

Uncertain situations I faced

But life had put me down so many times. How it did so, I have already mentioned in my earlier blog posts too. You can see a few of them here.

When my father expired in my early days, my life started with uncertainty. I had to accept it with no income of my family. In the year 2004, the bus in which we were traveling turned over in a pond. Then the most unfortunate thing happened in 2016 when my elder son met a road accident at Nagpur, India. The next year my wife suffered from Stephen Johnson Syndrome and finally survived with hospitalization and treatment in time.

By telling these sad events, I want to emphasize the fact that I accepted them as part of my life. They have taught me many lessons and made me more dutiful to my life. It did not fall apart. Step by step, everything worked well in the end. It’s all about my life.

What happens when you give value to it

But I believe that such uncertainty happens to everyone, the degree and form may differ. The readers may disagree with me.

When you give importance to it, then you fear the worst of it. So you can not do what you want to do. Once it happens to you, you can not unleash your hidden power. Then you start blaming it for every bad thing it has caused you.

When you accept an uncertain situation

But when you accept uncertain things in life, you want to know their unknown parts. So you gather more knowledge. Once you do so, you find many alternatives to solve your problems. In other words, you become more creative. When you become so, then you can solve them with ease and keep your boredom at bay. Less the boredom of life, more the flavor of life you live. Your maturity improves at once.

Call to action

So please don’t fear the uncertain situations; accept them, beat them, and live a life of flavor.
