How do I pray? God help me to pray you

How do I pray? God help me. You have created this beautiful world for us. What creation? It’s for life.

Absence of the Sun

Had you not created the Sun, the whole world would have immersed in total darkness. We could not make out the difference between day and night. The plants, vegetation, and all living beings of this world would not receive any energy. They all would have died. The winds would not flow, clouds would not form, rains would not fall, and so on. We would have missed colorful rainbows or movement of white clouds in the autumn sky.

 

Absence of seas and rivers

You have created deep seas for giving shelter to the fishes, sharks, whales, and other living creatures. Moreover, the fishermen catch fishes on seas and make their livelihood. People who live on fishes can take them because of seas. The rivers coming out of mountains created by you flow through the plain land and finally meet you. On their way to you, they serve humankind. How do they do so? They help in cultivation, production of crops, and transportation. So human beings survive due to the kind of support you give.

How we disturb the balance

In this way, you have created everything for some reason and for making a balanced universe and world. But we sometimes disrupt that balance. How? We destroy the green plants, build buildings, fill up water bodies and waterways, and so on. Sometimes we inject evil thoughts and beliefs into young minds and thus disturb their balance. More the disturbances in their minds, more the unbalanced state of the world.

We forget you- How do I pray

Sometimes we the human beings forget the above blessings you bestow on us. We forget the beauty you created in magical fountains, dense forests, or incredible flowers with so many colors and fragrance. You don’t take pride in your creation. But we forget your invisible power has created all these things.

We forget that love and compassion in our hearts come from your divine wishes. We forget to count your blessings. How can I pray to God? God help me to pray. How do I pray?

When we deviate from your path

Sometimes when we depart from your perfect way, you show your rage. How? Either You create negative thoughts, negative emotions within us when we deviate slightly, or you create an earthquake, drought, accidents, killings, and so on when we stray too much. Still, we forget how much power you have. We go on telling, ” I have done this. I have done that”, though you do all these things.

So how do I pray?

“What we would like to do is change the world – make it a little simpler for people to feed, clothe, and shelter themselves as God intended for them to do….We can, to a certain extent, change the world; we can work for the oasis, the little cell of joy and peace in a harried world. We can throw our pebble in the pond and be confident that its ever widening circle will reach around the world. We repeat, there is nothing that we can do but love, and, dear God, please enlarge our hearts to love each other, to love our neighbor, to love our enemy as well as our friend.”
