Stay positive all day long: Practical Tips

Everyone advises, “Stay positive.” But none guides you on how to make so.

That’s why the post gives some practical tips in the end. If you follow these tips daily, then you can stay positive all day long.

Take responsibility for your life.

The point is when you take responsibility for your life; then you take charge of what had happened in the past, what happens now, and what will happen next in your life. Once you do so, then you find none to blame. Then for sure, you can make your experience more positive.

Set a goal to stay positive

When you set a goal, then you know where to go. So you focus all of your energy on how to meet your goal. Once you do so, you achieve your goal with ease. Then celebrate it. Why so? Because it inspires you to do better in the next attempt.

Count your blessings and be grateful.

Make a habit of listing good qualities you own. Then, cheer yourself up. Show your gratitude to those who have helped you in acquiring those qualities. Do it silently just before you go to bed. If you do so, you sleep a sound sleep. Let me tell you why? Gratefulness reduces stress, increases positive emotions, and feelings within you. So you sleep deep at night. Then you stay more positive the next day.

Keep good relationships.

The study shows how long will you live depends on how much good relationships you keep up. When you keep up good relationships, you don’t face any conflicts. You know any dispute you face exchanges negative energy. Once you don’t face conflicts, no negative energy flows within you. So you are full of positive energy. With more positive energies, you live longer. Besides, you stay positive.

Keep promises at any cost.

Keeping promises strengthens your relationship with others. So keep promises when you make one. Once you do so, you deposit more in the emotional bank account of others. What happens then? They respect you. So you feel good, and they feel good too. The positive emotions flow both ways. So you stay positive.

Learn things to stay positive

All the physical assets depreciate with time. But, we and you, the human assets, appreciate with time, provided we learn. The most crucial point is to learn. Learn from whatever source you meet. Yes, you can learn from your teachers, parents, wife, son, employees, friends, and so on. Even you can learn from a tree, a flower, a mountain, and a river so on.

Moreover, you can learn from books. In short, switching your learning mode makes you positive. Then you can learn more. So you stay positive.

Declutter to stay positive.

A cluttered environment blocks your energies. So, when you work there, your brain can’t think clearly. As a result, you can’t act and work efficiently for long. When you do proper housekeeping and reorganizing in your house or workplace, it eases energy flow. Let me tell you what happens then. Your working spaces, mental spaces, working conditions, as well as the morale of employees improve at once.

Moreover, your anxiety drops. So you sleep deeply. As a result, you produce more. In other words, you become more positive.

Read books

Reading books expands your mind. Once expanded, the mind does not return to its original state. If you read books, then you reduce your stress by around 68 %.  So it strengthens your brain and improves your health. Then, why don’t you make a habit of reading books? Know your employees

Whenever you find the time, interact with your employees. If time permits, go for one to one interaction, listen to them with empathy, and ask for their suggestions.  Once you do so, they open up, share their views, and take part in discussions. So they produce more. And you stay positive.

Practice meditation or mindfulness

Help others to stay positive.

Why help others? Helping others is a great virtue. Do you know what it does?. It certainly enriches your lives, purifies you, and keeps you ahead in your spiritual journey. Both of you and others feel good. So, positive emotions flow both ways. You can read my post- here for details.

Catch your employees doing something right and praise them in public.

The employees of your shop work hard to increase production. Whenever you catch them doing something right, then you praise them in public. Once you do so, you inspire them to work harder. When you motivate, positive vibes radiate from you. So you look positive.

Listen to your favorite songs.

Self-development

Self-development helps you grow. How so? When you develop yourself,  you improve your self-awareness, knowledge, skill, and behavior.  As a result, your self-esteem, confidence, productivity, and effectiveness go upThat. These elements make you positive and help you grow.
