“Opportunities don’t happen. You create them.”
-Chris Grosser.
In the primitive age, humans lived in caves. Then they had to depend much on the forests for their daily needs. They searched for their food in the woods. But they did not find it easy to do so. Sometimes they had to fight with the fierce animals. If they waited in caves for the right opportunity to come, they would have starved and died. So they created them by fighting with the animals.
How some of us see the opportunities
The same thing is still valid for us modern people. How so? Sometimes some of us fight with our colleagues, society, or others to make our presence felt or create better opportunities for us. So they make opportunities for them.
They believe that success does not come to them; they have to reach it by their actions. As they think and feel that they will succeed in the end, they can not sit idle. So they start where they are, use what they have and thus make opportunities for them. The attitude and mindset of them help them to see opportunities in difficult times.
Some of us fight with our thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes. What is the outcome of this fight? They find comfort in limiting their beliefs about what they believe. They believe that opportunities for success will come to them in time. So they wait for them. But the critical point is the time they wait never comes. So they never go outside their comfort zone. As a result, they don’t see the opportunities and success lying outside it.
