Be positive all day long: Practical Tips

Everyone advises,  to be positive.

But how shall I stay positive all day long? So I give some practical tips below.

If you follow these practical tips daily, then you can stay positive all day long.

Take responsibility for your life.

 Take responsibility for your life. What does it mean? It means you take charge of your life. When you do so,  you don’t blame others for your life. You not only take responsibility for what had happened in the past or what happens at present but also, you take responsibility for what will happen in the future life. So, you can make your life full of hope.

Set a goal, meet it, and celebrate it.

Let me tell you why? When you don’t have any goals, you don’t have any destination. So you reach nowhere. Why so? If you don’t see the goal, how will you focus your energies? So they scatter everywhere. When you set goals, you focus your energy on how to reach your goal. Once you do so, a powerful stream of positive energy flows within you. As a result, you reach your goal at once. Then you celebrate your success. Let me tell you why? Every celebration inspires you to do better in the next attempt.

Count your blessings and be grateful.

Make a habit of listing good qualities you own. Then, show your gratefulness to those who have helped you in acquiring those qualities. Do it silently just before going to bed. Then you sleep a sound sleep. Once you show gratefulness, then you show positive emotions only. So you say no to negative emotions. So you feel so positive and happy. As a result, you stay in a positive state of mind.

Keep good relationships at home, workplace, and society.

The study shows how long will you live depends on how much good relationships you keep up. More the good relationships you keep, the less the conflicts you face. Less the conflicts, less is your negative energy. Less the negative energies,  more the positive energy you have. Once you have more positive energies, then you live longer. So you need to stay positive in your personal life, work-life, and social life.

Keep promises at any cost.

When you promise to someone, you must keep it. Let me tell you why? Keeping promises is like depositing in your emotional bank account. More deposits you make, you make the bank account grow. Similarly, more promises you keep, you grow your emotional account more. So every relationship grows strong when you keep promises. Then people respect you. So you feel good, and people also feel good. Do you know why? The positive emotions flow both ways. So keep promises at any cost.


Do you know all the physical assets depreciate with time? But, you and we, the human assets, appreciate with time, once we learn. Where you can learn from? You can do so from your teachers, parents, wife, son, employees, friends and so on. Even you can learn from a tree, a flower, a mountain, and a river so on. Moreover, you can learn from books. But you need to switch on your learning mode. Why so? It makes us positive. So we can learn new things.


A cluttered environment blocks your energies. So, when you work in a cluttered environment, your brain can’t think clearly. As a result, you can’t act and work efficiently. When you do proper housekeeping and reorganizing in your house or workplace, it removes the blocked energies. Your working spaces, mental spaces, working conditions, as well as the morale of employees improve. Additionally, it reduces your anxiety, improves your sleep, increases your productivity and creativity. In other words, it makes a positive environment where you become positive.

Read books

Reading books expands your mind. Once expanded, the mind does not return to its original state. Reading books reduces your stress by around 68 %, so it strengthens your brain and improves your health. Then, why don’t you make a habit of reading books? Know your employees

When you find the time, interact with your employees. If time permits, go for one to one interaction, listen to them with empathy, and ask for their suggestions.  They open up, share their views, and take part in discussions. As a result, you know your employees.

Practice meditation or mindfulness

Help others

Why help others? Helping others is a great virtue. It not only allows others directly but also it benefits us. It certainly enriches our lives, purifies us, and keeps us ahead in our spiritual journey. Both of you and others feel good. So, positive emotions flow both ways. You can read my post- details.

Catch your employees doing something right and praise them in public.

The employees of your shop work hard to increase production. When you praise them in public, you inspire them to work harder. When you motivate, positive vibes radiate from you.

Listen to your favorite songs.

A great song can instantly uplift your mood. How it uplifts, you can have an idea in my post- A great song can make you feel good.


Self-development helps you grow. How? Initially, It improves your self-awareness, knowledge, skill, and behavior.  Finally, it improves your self-esteem, confidence, Productivity, and effectiveness. These elements make you positive and help you grow.
